On the opening day of release in the US, Treyarch have released the first patch in the hopes it will fix a few vital bugs. The following is a list of the fixes in the first patch:
Mods are now enabled in Co-op, Single Player, and Multiplayer. Players will now be notified when a new patch is available. Improvements for SLI support. G_Spawn: no free entities crash has been fixed. Server no longer runs out of script variables. License key is no longer required to run a Dedicated Server. A Dedicated Server can now be started from the Command Line via Remote Desktop Connection. Various fixes in Server Browser. Players will no longer see multiple friend invites from the same friends. When a player calls in a recon plane in a Hardcore match, the HUD will properly appear. Clan Tags will now display in game where appropriate. Map holes fixed Spawn improvements and weapon balancing

New Tags and Training Nights!!
After a long heated discussion, we have to change our tags due to Call of Duty - World At War. We are unable to put the =|DF|= into the Clan Tag area in the game, so our new tag will be:
dF|
Also we are going to move to having proper training sessions. Sunday nights will now be MPL only training, so be prepaid for No Firing etc rules and Monday nights will be ProMod Training. Both sessions will start at 8pm. If you never turn up to say an MPL training session, then fear not, you will still be able to play, but players that do train will get picked first if available. Please do not think this is a way of us making 'teams', that's not the case, we just want to improve in both leagues/ladders.
Also, recruitment will again open, but we are looking for Call of Duty - World At War players first. Minimum age is 16, again a trial period will take place, and we will ask trialists to leave if we feel they are not right for dF|.

Latest Deadly Forces News!!
As most of you know, Deadly Forces are taking two teams to i35 to take part in the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 6,000euro tournament next weekend, October 30th to 3rd November. The two teams for Deadly Forces are:
Team 1: Ebola (Leading) SnYp3 NyX Mr.Roo ptR
Team 2: Minty (Leading) Jo3 Chef LonZi Geosnipe
We will be posting up demo's of our matches over the weekend of i35 so keep an eye out for them. Finally for i35, I'm in the process of uploading the i35 video. This is a short video showing you the skills (yeah right) of the =|DF|= players (only Full Members are in the video). Unfortunately I couldn't include Geosnipe in the video as he's only just joined and it does take some time to make the video, but every player that is representing =|DF|= at i35 will be in another video which will be put together after the event.
Also Call of Duty: World At World is nearly upon us, and I have found some more trailers for you all to watch. Just click here to see what the big fuss is about The Beta version of the game is almost ready for release and if you would like to play it, then click here: CoD5: Beta Demo. I will be posting up all the IP's of the Beta Servers as soon as the Beta becomes available (I'm hoping to run a Beta Server for =|DF|=).

Call of Duty: World at War
This is the latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, but this time the game has been made by Treyarch. These are the guys that made Call of Duty 3, which is seen as the worst one, but instead of only having a year to design the game, this time they've had 2, so hopefully better things from them
The official release date is the 14th November and here at Deadly Forces we are hoping to have a couple of World at War servers up and running on the day of release.
As you can see from the trailer below, the game has moved back to WWII and has copied a number of ideas from CoD:4, namely perks and Hardcore and Softcore modes.
Deadly Forces will not be giving up on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, we will still run servers and compete in various in leagues and ladders, but we will also play and take part in ClanBase's World at War S&D ladder. Hopefully in this release we will see our old favorite gametype, Capture The Flag

Paintball Server!!!!!
We now have a Paintball Mod running on one of our servers: 91.192.210.69:28937. However, the mod is large, 10mb, so if you can download the mod from here first before joining the server, that would be great
Download and extract the PAINTBALL MOD to a folder called "modernpaintball". You will have to create this folder in your 'mods' folder. So its should look something like this:
C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\modernpaintball
This is for our 1.7 server @ 91.192.210.69:28937
In the mean time, I'll try and get the redirection to work so we can have fast downloads

Latest News

As some of you can see, we have again closed applications to join the clan. To all those that applied and never heard anything else, I'm sorry but due to the amount of work that clan leaders carry out, we didn't have the time to send out rejection emails. We do thank you for applying to become a member of Deadly Forces, but we do pick by attitude, ages etc. Maybe when applications re-open you might have a different result.
Also we have two new full members, pepperBoi and Bashy! They have gone straight in as full members because basically we have meet them pepperBoi was in our team at i34 and Bashy! was sitting (and sleeping) right behind us and they were both on our "I Saw Blackmane Cry" quiz team. They are not on trial as we use the trial period to see what prospective members are like, and as myself, Cuppa and Bean have meet, talked and played with them, we already know what they are like. I hope the rest of the clan can give them a warm welcome.
Deadly Forces are in the ClanBase Open Cup and it starts on the 6th October, its a massive tournament with some of the best clans/teams in Europe playing. If you would like to play, you have to have signed up to ClanBase and joined =|DF|= on there. Just visit ClanBase and register, then provide me with your player ID (6 digit code) and I can add you to our roster.
Bye for now

New Clan Leaders!!!
It's with great pleasure that I can announce that =|DF|= has two new clan leaders. Now before other members start asking why not them, and more importantly, why the need for two extra clan leaders, let me explain. First off, as some of you may have noticed, Cuppa has been inactive lately, this is to do with work and it looks like this will remain so for the foreseeable future. Added to that is the amount of work that I have to do, such as checking servers, webby, vent, leagues and matches, it leaves me little time to actually play the game As for why these two members, well I think the whole clan respects them, they take an active part in clan idea's etc and seem (hopefully ) level headed, plus I hope they share the same outlook for =|DF|= that I do.
It wasn't an easy choice, and to be honest, I could have picked from nearly all our members, but I guess there will be some that might be unhappy, but hopefully they can see the reasons why I picked.....SnYp3 and NyX.
Well done guys, now do some work
