Hi guys, well been back in Afghan since 1st of Jan, never thought i'd get this close to IRAN, 4-500m away across the river!! Alls good at the mo, back in March, we still doing BF3? At least the roads were clear in London this am, the bus was motoring along. Though I don't think the gritters down here are as good as in the capital

Fair enough the volcano ground things to a halt, but a couple of inches of expected snow and the underground stops.

Looking at the news, its like a different world in other parts of the UK!! Look out my window..... 6 degrees and was raining this morning, but now the sun is out!!

Just taken me 4 and a half hours to drive home from London - 29 miles. Abandoned the car and walked the last 2 miles
