My PC is 7 years old and on it's last legs now (HDD, Motherboard and PSU have all surpassed their MTBFs and diagnostics show they are all contributing to frequent crashes and reboots).

So... haven't got the time to build myself now - thinking about buying a custom gaming PC from Overclockers.

Any recommendations?

I was thinking about this:

8000 series is out now. I’d go with at least a 1070ti for gaming if you want to future proof.

Seems pretty dear no?

Looks very good for the price (with 10% discount), you bought fro them before? Recommend them?

Im a big fan of Overclockers so bit reluctant to try someone else

They have just been voted the U.K’s number 1 retailer.

I only use Scan or Mesh for pre-built PC’s.

I had mesh as my first PC but built my last few from Scan /CCL / Overclockers parts.

Amos has got a new Mesh and it’s a great machine.

Awesome wiring, great looking tower and no issues in the 20 months he’s had it.

Have a shop around, there are some good bargains about 🙂

Cheers Wilks

Just placed an order with Mesh, had a long chat on the phone with them - they seem very knowledgable and helpful.

Went for a tailored E-Hercules Gaming PC in the end.

Aerocool Quartz Black RGB Black Midi Tower Case
850W GameMax RGB Modular 80+ Gold Power Supply
ASUS TUF Intel Z370-Plus Gaming Coffee Lake ATX Motherboard
Intel® Core™ i5-8600K 6 Core Processor (3.6GHz) 9MB Cache - Upgrade CPU Cooler OVERCLOCKED to 4.6Ghz
GameMax Iceberg 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler
16GB 2400MHz DDR4 (2x8GB) - Major Brand [upg £ 80.00]
6GB ASUS ROG Strix NVidia GTX 1060 OC Gaming Graphics Card HDMI, Display ports
250GB M.2 3D SATA SSD w/ Windows 10 O/S pre-installed
3TB SATA III 6GB/s 7200rpm Hard Disk Drive  64MB Cache 8ms

All ready for Battlefield V :o)

Can't wait (although I have to ... about 2 weeks) - current PC can't even manage a full game of Counter-Strike now without crashing (it is over 7 years old, the SSD, cooling and motherboard are all problematic).

Got the new PC yesterday

Easy set-up; took just an hour to plug in, install Steam, Origin etc. and download the essential games (350mb internet :o) )

Looking good so far, BF1 at a rock steady 60fps (yes with vertical sync) in Ultra and maxed out.

Impressed with Mesh
